Saving SoCal

In an attempt to help the millions of people suffering in California, I have designed a fundraiser much like that of the American Cancer Society, in which I am selling orange rubber bracelets for $3 apiece, with proceeds going directly to the Red Cross chapters in San Diego and the rest of Southern California. This is a great way to help the families who have lost everything, have the funds to begin rebuilding again. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing a bracelet. Thank you!!

and it still feels good

brown county was awesome--my third year going to the reunion and definitely the most fun! we played touch football (i scored three touchdowns-woohoo!) and the girls did a little shopping in nashville, gotta love that saltwater taffy =]

october break was so much fun--i got a full week with my niece and nephews (and some well deserved rest!) and the rest of my family.

school has been going very well, i can't believe midterms have already come and gone. it's been 9 weeks, and i'm beginning to look at classes for next semester. talk about time flying. i don't go home as often as i (or mom) would like, but i'm adjusting and handling it well. i LOVE student teaching, it's been the best experience i have had here on campus and i look forward to the thursday visits every week. i also just started a new job, i am a sales representative for the mark. by avon line for women, specializing in high-end merchandise for better prices (and hey, if i can afford it on a college kid's budget, anyone can!). i have a lot on my plate right now, and that's exactly how i like my life...busy enough to not realize that school is flying by, only to one day see that it's more than half over! I'm definitely not complaining. everything else is wonderful, i can't wait to get back to my family in a few weeks, but til then, it's back to the grind...
boiler up!

copycat

ok, i'm trying out this new blog finally! my sister amber introduced me, and now i guess it's my turn. i've done the whole myspace/facebook/xanga deal, and frankly i'm tired of the teenage aspect to it. maybe this will be an easier and more efficient way to keep up with the people in my life--we'll see!
